The Alamo Mission Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will host the 108th Pilgrimage to the Alamo in honor of the Alamo Heroes and the heritage of Texas. The Pilgrimage began in 1918 as a tribute to the fallen soldiers of the Battle of the Alamo on San Jacinto Day. It consists of a processional of military, community groups, and individuals who walk from the Tobin Center Vietnam War Memorial and culminates with a wreath laying ceremony at the Alamo. Participation for this event is open to the public.
